'Moe'hawkby =Virivax

Traditional Art / Drawings / Animals

A mostly realistic drawing of my character Moe for art class this week. Really had fun drawing this, might open this style up for commission. Might. There was some more to this drawing, but I found it to be too ugly to show you lovely people. So I cropped it.

I like how you used highlights with darker tones for bringing out this piece. The red accent is a wonderful choice. However you might want to try and shade it in like you do with normal shading. Just don't shade with your fingers when you add the color to it. Always wound up looking like blotchy crayons.
Reminds me of some of my older work. Very nice.
I would work on the angle of skull vrs. the ear positioning. I find that the way the ear looks for shading- indicating the angle/position that it is facing, is too far back.
